Conditions for bookings connected through RentGooo

1. Scope and documents

These conditions apply when a customer requests a vehicle through CheapCarRent and the offer is supplied through the RentGooo connection. They supplement the general CheapCarRent terms and the provider-specific conditions disclosed in the offer, confirmation and voucher.

The customer accepts only the conditions disclosed before payment or in the confirmed rate. A local rental agreement may be presented at pick-up and governs the use of the vehicle after the customer has reviewed and signed it. If it materially conflicts with the confirmed offer, the customer should contact CheapCarRent before signing or collecting the vehicle.

2. Offer, availability and confirmation

Availability and price are rechecked when the booking request is submitted. A payment request or booking request is not final supplier confirmation. The local rental agency may take up to 24 hours to confirm the booking, and CheapCarRent will send the result by email.

Where an offer states “or similar”, the agency may provide another vehicle in the same or a higher category with reasonably comparable main characteristics.

3. Price, online payment and deposit

• The checkout separates the amount payable online from the rental amount payable to the local agency at pick-up.
• A refundable security deposit is not part of the booking total unless the checkout expressly states otherwise. The local agency may block or collect it using an accepted payment card.
• Fuel, mileage, one-way, delivery, young-driver, late-return and other charges apply only when shown in the confirmed offer or validly incurred under the signed local rental agreement.
• Currency conversion and card issuer charges are controlled by the customer’s payment provider.

4. Driver and pick-up requirements

• The main driver must meet the age and licence requirements shown in the offer and present a valid driving licence, identification document, voucher and an accepted payment card when required.
• Names and contact details must be accurate. The customer must promptly correct an error through CheapCarRent before pick-up.
• The customer should arrive at the stated place and time and provide flight details where requested. Delayed arrival must be reported as soon as possible.

5. Protection and optional services

Only protection, excess, deposit reduction, mileage and optional services shown as selected in the confirmed offer or voucher are included. Their limits, exclusions and payment timing remain those of the confirmed rate and the local agency. CheapCarRent does not extend insurance coverage beyond the confirmed documents.

6. Changes, cancellation and no-show

The cancellation and change deadlines shown in the rate-specific rental-company terms before payment apply. CheapCarRent does not replace them with a general 48-hour default.

The confirmed supplier rate determines whether a change is possible and what cancellation charge or refund applies. A request becomes effective when CheapCarRent or the local agency acknowledges it. Late requests, failure to appear, missing documents or failure to meet the disclosed driver requirements may result in charges or loss of amounts only as permitted by the confirmed rate and applicable law.

7. Vehicle issues, claims and refunds

The customer must report a pick-up problem, material vehicle defect, accident, theft or incorrect charge promptly to the local agency and to CheapCarRent, preserve receipts and supporting evidence, and follow lawful safety and reporting instructions.

CheapCarRent handles questions about its online payment and assists communication with the agency. The agency remains responsible for vehicle handover and rental performance. Refund eligibility is assessed under the confirmed rate, the general CheapCarRent terms and applicable consumer law.

8. Privacy and acceptance record

CheapCarRent processes the driver and booking data needed to arrange the rental, take the online payment, prevent fraud, provide support and keep an acceptance record. Necessary data is shared with RentGooo and the local agency to quote, confirm and service the booking. Further details are in the CheapCarRent privacy policy.

At checkout CheapCarRent records the acceptance time, language, version, the rate-specific rental-company terms snapshot and canonical links to these conditions and the privacy policy. The unchecked box is required before payment can be opened.
